The main focus of the workshop will be printing onto glaze-ware using screen-printed, water-based transfers (decals). A low tech method of exposing and burning silk
screens will also be demonstrated. Participants will be provided with commercial glazed dishes and a selection of images to experiment with. We will also discuss other
types of decals and print application as time permits. Experience with ceramic processes is not required to participate in this class.

Cathy Terepocki grew up outside of St.Jacobs, a rural farming community in Ontario.
After several years of travelling and working abroad she pursued a fine arts degree at Alberta College of Art and Design. In 2004 she graduated with a BFA in ceramics.
Upon graduating she was awarded the Governor Generals Award for her graduating class.
Cathy has exhibited consistently, last year she was part of her first European exhibition in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her work has been published in book s and featured
in online blogs. She has also been written up in several magazines and newspapers including Galleries West, Western Living and The Globe and Mail.
After a four year stint on the prairies she has returned to beautiful British Columbia. She is living in the Fraser Valley with her husband and three children.
