We are thrilled to be invited by the eclectic and inspiring interior design store, Mint, as part of their spring show in London, U.K. this year. We will be exhibiting a special edition of our paper tiles over the next few months.
This spring we will be busy working on pieces for an exhibition at the Clay and Glass Gallery in Waterloo, Ontario. First part of the exhibition will take place in may of 2016, when we will be showing along side artists Rory MacDonald, Orest Tataryn, Vanessa Yanow and John Tinbolt during CAFKA (Contemporary Art Forum Kitchner and area).
Second part of the exhibition will take place at the Gallery where work by same artists will be featured, creating a dynamic correlation between the works on view in the public space and in the Gallery space.
Works in the public space will be on view beginning on Saturday, may 28th. The opening Reception for the works in the Gallery is Sunday, July 10th at 2pm.
We are looking forward to this year’s Wanted Design when we will be showing our most recent work with the QC Design collective. This year, the group from Quebec includes: PMO, Design Milan, AtelierB, Jarre Panoplie, Mini-Loop boutique, Tat Chao and ourselves. The show is in Manhattan from May 13-16. 2016. We plan to be there and hope to see you!
As part of their annual benefit, The Public Art Fund is staging a life-sized game board Sixteen Tons, a game designed by Nathalie Pozzi and Eric Zimmerman. For the event Nathalie and Eric asked us to design and make game pawns in a shape of our Paperscapes stools. The fundraiser is on April 19 for those interested and in NYC.

Congrats to our collaborators, Measured Architecture, who were just awarded as Western Livings Architecture Designers of the Year! Our massive tile project that was completed earlier this summer in Rough House was discussed along with the announcement. Below is an image of the master bathroom and its 360 degrees of hexagon tiles.

Line tiles were originally designed as a private commission for a tiny house in Point Roberts, Washington. Every tile is different. They can be combined in a variety of ways to create shapes and patterns.
These tiles were designed to build in-the-round wall murals through stitch pixelation. Any colour or image can be translated into existence.
Custom designed for the Berdin-Cuddington residence for Measured Architecture, more than 30 different hexagonal tile types were developed for four rooms of the residence, each with their own colour palette, patterns and textures.
We are excited to have Wallpapering listed as one of the Best of Milan Design Week, 2015 by Yatzer, considered by many to be a global authority on fashion, art and design. Every year Yatzer’s list is the top google hit for Milan Design Week.

Other than their decorative potential, they have great sound absorbing qualities and are easy to install. We continue to use 100% post-consumer paper collected from local businesses.
