The work is inspired by our continued interest in folk art and in particular, the ethnic textiles of former Yugoslavia, Jasna’s homeland. The Paper Lore collection quietly tells a story of these distant regions and their history through forms, patterns and symbols.

In continuing our efforts to explore and push the boundaries of new materials, the pieces exhibited are composed of Paperock, a post-consumer paper based material we developed and perfected over the past couple of years. After being reduced to fibers, the paper is reformed into new and unrecognizable states of being as furniture, light forms and artworks.
